Jeff Battersby

Writer, actor, man-about-tech. Okay, okay, I know I'm supposed to tell you more than those three things, but what's to say? Not much. I've been doing tech stuff for longer than I care to admit, managing IT for companies small and large, writing for pubs such as Macworld, MacUser, yada, yada, boring, boring. I built my own house, I once published a newspaper in the town where I live. I grew up in the Bay Area and now live in New York. I love theatre, I act, I stage manage, I usher, I might work on a set or two. I read voraciously, but very slowly for someone who reads as much as I do. I've written plays, short stories, and I might be working on a novel. (I mean, who isn't, right?) I love all kinds of music and listen to it almost all the time. I can throw, kick, swing a bat, hammer a nail with either foot or hand. I once asked my mom if they'd forced me to write with my right hand. They hadn't (I guess that's a Catholic school thing) and I am equally bad at writing with either hand. I'm the father of three amazing children, my proudest accomplishment, and one I can't take too much credit for, because they were amazing from the jump. That's me. That's it. What more is there to say? Nothing. So I'll stop now.
